An addendum to my previous, first, post, arising out of a conversation with a friend today -
Why do we often find it so much easier to follow the agenda set by someone else (boss, customer, peer expectations, parent, children etc) than to set and follow our own?
Knowing what we want to do is often the hardest thing. Trusting our instinct and having the courage to pursue it is often the second hardest thing, as we can struggle with doubt, lack of confidence, the need for justification and self-criticism.
